Dear Legionnaires,

My wife, Sharon, and I were guests at Morgan Woodson and Matthew Werder’s fabulous wedding on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
The beautiful Binksberry Hollow Estates in Wison, New York, was the wedding venue. It was exciting to witness the solemn outdoor Wedding Ceremony on a hill high above, with sixty seats reserved for family members and friends. The beautiful Morgan, Jesse Clipper Post 430, service officer, was stunning in her floral wedding dress. The reception was exceptional, with a variety of drinks and delicious food.

I have attached pictures taken during the evening.

Dear Legionnaires,

We, the Jesse Clipper Anglers, wanted to take a minute to tell you about our fantastic Charter Fishing Trip on September 10, 2024, that included Legionnaires Perry Civils and Bill Barber.
We chartered the fishing trip with Lake Effect Charters, Barcelona Harbor, Westfield, New York. Barcelona Harbor is located 18 miles East of Dunkirk. It has some of the deepest water in Lake Erie. Our mission was to fish for Walleye. We were allowed to catch five fish per person. After three hours, we reached our limits, and four fish escaped.
Attached are photos taken during our trip. Note: The fish display sign has ten hooks. So, only ten fish were shown, but we caught fifteen. (smile)

Dear Legionnaires,

Black History Month has been filled with non-stop activities. On Friday, February 23, 2024, I was honored to be the guest speaker for the Venture Forthe Day Care Program for the third year. This program is provided by the Venture Forthe Corporation, owned by Legionnaire John Dziewit and his wife, Jean.

I spoke of WWII T/Sgt E5 Paul Wood’s heroic actions during the war, devotion to God, and his family.

Attached are pictures taken after the program.
